Karate is out of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
Karate was excluded from the competition at the IOC Executive Board meeting held recently, following the Tokyo Olympics.The road to continuous implementation has been closed.In February 2019, the Paris Organizing Committee (COJO) leaked a host city proposal to the IOC.Since then, we have continued to negotiate with COJO and IOC with all possible measures, but it is extremely disappointing.The result was.I am full of regret that I cannot meet the expectations of all karate enthusiasts and related parties. At least I think that the organization of COJO and IOC should be decided based on the results of the 2020 Tokyo Games.I will remain. I will continue to draw to promote the existence of karate at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in some way.We will continue our activities.The Loss 2028 Tournament Campaign will also be launched shortly. “Universal Sport originated in Japan” Aiming to enter an event while appealing to people around the world other than those involved in karate I will continue.Thank you for your continued support.
WKF 2021 Premier League Test Event
COVID-19 continues to rage all over the world. Ahead of the first official 2021 event, the Premier League (Lisbon, Portugal) scheduled for February, a Test Event was held in Lisbon on December 12th, in full line with the WKF COVID-19 Guideline. With the full cooperation of the WKF Medical Committee and Local OC, everything went as planned, and we had a great harvest for next year’s convention.
